Winding roads

Winding roads swerve and curve dip and rise the hills survive

Such as life return to earth back to dirt roads the country serves

On this road I cannot see that much ahead of me

Such is life we seek to see oracular vision we try to speak

Throes and woes of human attempts to control only sheds tears of nature's wake to our human destructive ways

Fear not fear not the earth does cry I love you all the same

Winding roads they curve they dip they swerve and dive revealing as time goes by

Life is thus for all we see is what we percieve to be as time goes by relative to those that behold with eyes that see not seek

Living dying it is the way back to dirt in this cosmic sway winding ways the lives we lead

I'll take curves and waves rising tides and hills over straight lines any day

Do not seek and you will find life is beautiful in your eye

Struggle and seek predict to control and all you'll find is dead sea tears of salt that binds

Now quickly open your eyes!

“Do not seek, and you will find— life is beautiful in your eye, for what we see is never just the world, but the lens through which we try.”

Version 2

Winding roads, they swerve and curve, dip and rise where hills endure— such is life, we fall, return, back to earth, to dust, to dirt. On this road I cannot see what lies waiting ahead of me— such is life, we long to know, speak like oracles, guess the flow. Throes and woes of human hands grasping hard to shape the land only leave in nature’s wake tears of salt from what we take. Fear not—fear not—the earth still cries: “I love you all,” beneath our tries. Winding roads, they twist and dive, revealing truth as time goes by— for all we see is shaped within, a shifting lens beneath the skin. Living, dying—cosmic sway, back to dust we find our way. So give me curves and rising tides over straight, controlled lines. Seek too hard, and sight goes blind— try to hold, and you will find only Dead Sea tears remain, salt that binds from forced domain. But loosen now—release the claim… and beauty speaks without a name. So quickly now—open your eyes.
