Soul Bare to Night

Nature beckons after writing
The neck feels stiff but was not stiffened the feet feel empty of warmth but not cold
From there I begin to walk outside, too much, so I stand tall and firmly stretch my arms far out to sea and match my breath with my muscles release of tension my feet begin in chill at first my body shivers at attention as I stretch and breath I feel my bodies expansion the cold no longer shivers the moment becomes a warming sensation continuing to breath now to earths resonant direction my arms fall to hips sharply up to chest forming heart from hands connect as left leg rises to meet in triangular precision breath released sharp inhale leg comes down foot meets earth hips lean torso in responding direction the wind rises the hair to attention arms sharp to sea then elbows bend to meet between every step are echoes of remembrance to dance to earths reception they land like lightning thunder like clouds arms following the wind elbows unhinged up and down yet within and out my arms respond to whispers felt
times embrace fades to shade as remembrance watches itself
