I think in Norse ravens represent Odin's keepers(keepers of knowledge) and also appear in death scenes because they symbolize knowledge's balance nature hence the loss of Odin's eye and gaining of ravens at least that's how I see it idk the actual lore I've watched viking they touch the eye thing I know the small like Americanized version of him hanging on the tree losing his eye in exchange for knowledge to escape the tree???
