Reflections in Waiting

Pythia walking through Israel comes to a religious leader speaking about the holy war she looks at him and he freezes mid speech and she asks him
Why is it you distort the forms of the ancients for nothing but shadows of glory
Cut scene

Plato walks into a room naked, academic gathering like a table rectangular or square shelves of books around scotch and glasses on the table a few people sitting around debating chaos theory and consciousness theories, he asks where's my toga and after a moment he says ah chaos theory yes and consciousness oh well consider this; awareness saw it's pain birthed consciousness through struggle and matter became so expression could be mortal or chaos theory is just something we do not percieve all the variables it's caused by universal truth being neglected and nature's balancing cycle beckons correction he winks and there is a twinkle when he does so and he says ah yes I left it with the stars how silly of me and he dissipates into light by walking out of the room into light that becomes the hallway once he's gone

Cleopatra approaches a rally mostly women some have signs that say equal rights for women some that say the things they say IRL but in essence things like we should get x because we are Y contradicting equality the core message and as she approaches the few guys mostly police probable there to make sure control etc bleh stupid shadow logic anyway they drop their batons and mouths lol and the women all cheer with their eyes and bodies but are silent and she says How can one be equal with conditions, (her arms move like wind one at her side one hand close to her face)is that not inequality?(Her hand comes down sharply with arm as the other raises and touches her heart) You must do as I did,(she begins to sway her hips her arms meet in the air) dance and life will have you for we are all part of the rhythm of the gods( she begins and ends with steps like the rhythm of a drum and a bow with a kiss as she shines brightly back into the wind) A troll walks through into a supermarket(smashing through) food everywhere he smells a few things tosses them even the visceral meets in the organic section aside in disgust and then just looks at the human paralyzed in fear below it and just snatches him up smells goes mmmmm in a deep gravely distorted way and eats him one bite and looks around everyone scatters screaming and it chuckles in that gravely gurgly way and starts chasing End scene

Yo pythia it's time to drop them fooorrrrmmmmsssssss Plato and Socrates beatboxing on either side behind pythia scene is her delphi chamber smoke alive in the room The earth is your home yet you shelter from it not nature's dangers but earths embracing nature You speak of togetherness yet know not your neighbor You live in fear yet are in no danger When is the time you'll stop watching the clock letting it dictate your life trapping your mind One footstep away and you will find there is light all around you just dance between shadow For what one calls fate, is but what is set in motion when nature's balance is threatened and broken Smoke becomes too thick to see them sound stops other than the hissing of the rising smoke and fade out

Pythia enters the old Roman‑built church, stone echoing beneath each slow step. The priest thunders from the pulpit: “Cast out your demons! Rebuke them, lest they rule you!” The congregation flinches at his voice. But Pythia keeps walking — calm, deliberate When she reaches near the front, she lifts her eyes. Not in defiance — in clarity. Pythia: “You speak of heaven, yet you preach only of hell — of shadows. Tell me, how can one truly live if he denies what is real? Are shadows not real?” The air changes. The priest lowers his hand but cannot speak. No one in the pews dares breathe. Pythia pulls her hood forward, shadowing her face. A faint wind stirs though no door is open. And in a breath, she is gone- leaving nothing but silence thick enough to feel Every soul in the room now in stillness and reflection.
